About Us

Tim serves the company as President and Chief Executive Officer, and is the Co-Founder of CRS iGroup Inc. and its subsidiary company, Retrofit Signs and Lighting. Tim’s day-to-day responsibilities are to interact with our clientele as an L.E.D. Conversion Consultant. In this capacity, he educates customers on achieving 50 to 90% energy savings, achieving equal or improved illumination, and doing so without any upfront capital investment. Tim’s responsibilities also include overseeing all production and project management activities for the company. Tim has over 28 years of experience in commercial and industrial sign design, manufacture, and installation. He worked for a number of national sign companies before starting and running his own sign manufacturing facility for 18 years. Tim holds a degree incorporating graphic design and structural engineering. He is also a methods engineer and has a strong concentration in both structural and architectural design. He has significant expertise and experience in the electrical aspects of sign design, wiring, and illumination.

Gary Smith serves as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for all day-to-day company operations. Gary has over 40 years of experience in engineering and corporate management and has been an owner or partner in a number of successful business ventures. Gary has a solid background in engineering and operations management. He is also an experienced project manager who has successfully run projects valued from $500,000 to over $22 million. Gary holds a B.S. degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University, and a MBA in Operations Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
